Now part of the brand-new Pony Express Historic Byway, visiting the Pony Express Museum is now better than ever. The museum contains a saloon, blacksmith shop, schoolroom, stables, kitchen with many items from the Smith Hotel, a parlor, and a bedroom typical of the hotel. Many items in the museum originally belonged to the Smith family but are on loan to the museum.
