Girard History Museum was built in 1886-1888 to procure writings and artifacts pertaining to the history of Girard and its surrounding area.
The Historic Square houses the Crawford County Courthouse dedicated in 1922. It is beautifully finished with Italian Marble and a skylight. Surrounding the square are one-of-a-kind restaurants, retail shops and businesses.
Carnegie Library was built in 1906 making Girard the smallest city in the world to have a Carnegie Library.
Appeal to Reason & Little Blue Book Site – Now Veterans Memorial Park. Appeal to Reason was a Socialist paper that created 750,000 copies that circulated across the world in 1913.

Easter Celebration includes eggs, prizes, and activities for the community.
First Friday on the Square (May, June, and August) at the gazebo for great food, live music, and fun!
July 1^st Firework Celebration at the Crawford County Fairgrounds with a lineup of events; talent show, lawn mower races, and live bands leading up to a tremendous light show!
Fall Festival/Homecoming in October begins with a parade, market, and food vendors lining the square, and an annual BBQ Cookoff.
Ladies Night Out kicks off the shopping season with a night of shopping, giveaways, and a $500 prize drawing from the Chamber of Commerce.
Christmas Festival is held on the first Saturday of December. It has a parade, breakfast with Santa, and a local shopping exhibition.
