Hiawatha is located at the crossroads of Highways 36 & 73 in northeast Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø. We have several must-see attractions in town such as the Davis Memorial, the Brown County Historical Memorial Auditorium Museum, and the Brown County Historical Society Ag Museum. Known as "The Beautiful City of Maples," Hiawatha boasts beautiful fall foliage each year. Fall is a great time to visit Hiawatha to come to the Maple Leaf Festival and see the beautiful trees. Did you know that Hiawatha has the oldest, continuous Halloween Parade in the nation? The Halloween Frolic has been held annually since 1914!

Come see the Hiawatha Town Clock, referred to by some as the “Old Town Clock” more recently named the Frances Sewell Plamann History Center, is an iconic structure in Hiawatha, Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø. Erected in 1891, it is the only clock structure of its kind between Indianapolis, IN, and Denver, CO on Highway 36.
