A humble community located roughly 30 miles west of Atchison and 60 miles north of Topeka, Horton offers a variety of activities and amenities for all visitors. History buffs usually come to Horton to see the restoration work from Werner Wagon Works, an enterprise that helps bring old horse-drawn wagons back to working use. Many visitors also come to Horton for the entertainment at the town's Golden Eagle Casino, which has over 45,000 square feet available for gaming and bingo.
