The town of Hunter, a humble little town of just 53 residents, is nestled in the Blue Hills of southwest Mitchell County. Located on State Hwy 181, Hunter has a community building & cafe, a post office, the Bank Lodge, a library, gas pumps, a city park, two churches, and a large grain elevator.
Hunter also lives up to its name. The town is unironically a favorite destination for, you guessed it, hunters! The area is especially known for pheasant and deer hunting. When it comes to hunting, you won’t find many better places in Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø than Hunter!
